Who’s afraid of a little old speech?

They probably haven't told you how bad it is

It comes up at almost every single wedding I host

I'm not talking about the speech itself but the weeks before it. The best man who has stopped mentioning it but is quietly ‘bricking it’. The dad who has never spoken in front of more than a handful of people in his life. The groom who is "fine", honestly.

You can't do it for them. But you can give them something that actually helps.

I'm Just Saul and I've been a performing magician for over a decade and a trained hypnotherapist for more than half that. Before every wedding I host, I have a quiet conversation with at least one person who is quietly falling apart about their moment at the microphone.

I wrote this guide because the techniques that actually work aren't the ones you find when you Google "how to calm wedding speech nerves." They're the ones I teach in one to one sessions with real people, in the run up to the wedding, before it’s too late and they have to left to wing it.

It's free, it's a quick read and, most importantly, it’s useful.

Five things inside the guide:

  • Why nerves feel so physical, and what is actually going on.

  • The single reframe that changes how the whole experience feels.

  • Two breathing techniques used by surgeons, athletes and the military before high-pressure moments.

  • How to rehearse for success.

  • Why the room is already on their side before they say a word.
