One of my favourite things about performing magic is watching people try to make sense of the impossible. It’s particularly enjoyable when it happens right under their noses and they’re completely lost for words.
I’m Just Saul, a magician, mind reader, hypnotist and host. Your very own Wizard for Hire. I perform at weddings, corporate events and private parties. My job is to share mind-blowing magic that brings people together and gives them plenty to talk about afterwards.

While you’re having photographs taken, I’ll be getting to know your guests and showing them a few things they may struggle to explain over dinner. It’s a rather enjoyable way to spend the drinks reception. I’ll move between groups with close-up magic and mind reading, and make sure the two of you get to experience it as well. If you’d like me to host too, I can look after the introductions and announcements.

At a company party or client dinner, people often start by talking about work. Understandable, really. It’s what brought them together. A little close-up magic gives them something rather different to discuss. I’ll join your guests over drinks or between courses with magic and mind reading that gets them laughing, joining in and comparing theories. We’ll work out the timings beforehand, so it fits into the evening you’ve planned.

Exhibiting? Your team knows what to do once a prospect is interested. I use magic to stop relevant visitors, qualify their interest and introduce them to the right person on your stand. We’ll agree who you want to meet and how the handover works.

One of the lovely things about a party is having people from different parts of your life in the same room. They might know you very well without knowing much about each other. A little magic gives them somewhere to start. Before long they can be comparing theories, calling someone else over to watch or asking if I’ll do that again. A perfectly reasonable request, though it might not help. I’ll move between your guests with close-up magic and mind reading, so you can join in and enjoy the party you’ve put together.

You’ve chosen the people, the place and how you want your wedding to feel. On the day, you should get to be part of it. As your host, I’ll take care of introductions and announcements, bring your guests together and work with your venue to keep everyone informed as the day unfolds.
If you’ve already got the hosting covered, you can book me for the magic. We’ll look at your timings together and work out where I’ll be most useful.

Your date, venue and what you’re planning. A rough idea is enough to get started. I’ll check whether I’m available.

We’ll talk it through.
I’ll ask about your guests, your timings and what you want to happen. Then I’ll recommend an option and give you a clear quote.

Get it in the diary.
Once you’re happy, we’ll confirm the booking and agree the details, so you know what’s happening and when.

Where do you perform?
I’m based in Sussex and regularly work across Sussex, Kent and London. I’m also available nationwide and internationally. Tell me where your event is happening and I’ll explain any travel and accommodation costs with your quote.
Can you provide wedding magic and hosting?
Yes. You can book close-up magic for your drinks reception and wedding breakfast, or combine it with hosting, introductions and announcements. The wedding page explains the packages and prices.

That depends on the date, location and what you’d like me to do. You can see packages and prices on the service pages, or send me the details for a clear quote with what’s included. Any additional travel costs will be explained before you commit.
How far in advance should I book?
Once you’ve got a date and venue, it’s worth checking availability. If your event is coming up soon, ask anyway—I’ll let you know whether I can help.
Can I book you as a hypnotist?
Yes. If you’re interested in hypnotism as part of your entertainment, tell me about your event and guests. We’ll discuss the format and whether it’s suitable for the occasion. This is performance entertainment; hypnotherapy is a separate service.
Can you help us decide where it fits?
Yes. Tell me how the event is taking shape. We can look at the timings together and work out where I’ll be most useful.
Do we need to arrange a stage?
Close-up magic happens among your guests, so it doesn’t need a stage. Hosting or a stand-up performance can have different requirements; we’ll agree those with you and the venue.
Are you insured?
Yes, I hold public liability insurance and I’m a member of Equity and the Professional Emcee Association (PMCA). I’m also DBS checked. If your venue needs documentation, ask me and I can provide it.

Hi! I’m Justin.

I’ve been obsessed with magic since I was a kid. More than three decades later, that kid gets to make his living sharing it with the world.
Over the past ten years, I’ve performed professionally for tens of thousands of people across the UK, from wedding receptions and corporate events to festival stages and cabaret clubs.
My work has also taken me behind the scenes as a magic consultant for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
I’m also a writer and a qualified hypnotherapist, which probably explains why I’m as interested in what happens in people’s heads as what happens under their noses.
The trick is only part of it. So are the conversations and connections that happen during and afterwards, and the people who are still talking about it years later.
When you book me, all of that experience goes into thinking about your guests and what will work for them.

I’ve worked behind the scenes as a magic consultant for the Royal Shakespeare Company, consulted on a show for the Brighton Fringe and contributed original material to published works by other magicians.
